Robberg Beach is a 5km sandy beach from the Beacon Island Hotel to Robberg Nature Reserve.
From the street level: Driveway to parking area for 2-3 vehicles behind the garage. Garage parking for 2 small cars or one large car. Space for bikes, & some beach equipment. Stairs lead up to the kitchen from the garage. To the right of the driveway are stairs leading up through the landscaped garden to the front door.
Enter into the spacious and light open-plan living and kitchen. To the left is the kitchen, one indoor dining table (seating 6) and guest bedrooms 4 and 5 are accessed from a passage through from the kitchen. To the front is a TV lounge with flat-screen TV & DSTV. To the right is the indoor entertainment area – with built-in braai, seating and dining table with bench seating 8-10. Windows open to a bar counter and built-in wooden bench seating with cushions. Great for entertaining. Stacking doors open up completely onto the outdoor pool and entertainment deck. This is equipped with X2 Sun-loungers, X2 Sun chairs, outdoor patio furniture and sun umbrella. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are accessed from the TV lounge. The main bedroom is upstairs .

There are 5 bedrooms, 2 on the left side of the house, 2 in the main area and the main upstairs.
Main: King bed with en-suite bathroom: Bath, Shower & Toilet. This bedroom is carpeted and has a sliding door leading onto a balcony. There is a dressing room.
Bedroom 2: X2 Single beds with en-suite bathroom: Bath, Shower & Toilet. The bedroom is carpeted and has a standing fan. A door opens to the garden.
Bedroom 3: X1 Double bed with en-suite bathroom: Bath, Shower & Toilet. Door leads to the garden. The bedroom is carpeted, has a standing fan and TV.
Bedroom 4: X1 Double Bed with a door leading to a courtyard with a sun lounger and a wash line. The bedroom is carpeted and has a standing fan and TV.
Bedroom 5: Double bed and en-suite bathroom: Shower & Toilet. A door leads out onto a balcony which overlooks the driveway and Rothersands Avenue.
Accommodation & facility check list:
- Linen, bath and beach/swimming towels are provided.
- Wi-Fi connection available – data can be pre-purchased. Please request when booking.
- DSTV decoder including smart card (DSTV Premium) available & included in rental. X3 TVs. One in the lounge and two bedrooms. The channels are not independent. The decoder is an Explora.
- One cleaning lady, Agnes is mandatory daily at R300 per day (including week-ends and public holidays. (Her hours are from 8.30/9.00am until 3.00/3.30pm) at R300 per day. Agnes keeps the house clean, assists with dishes, making of beds and personal laundry.
- PLEASE NOTE: This home is not baby, toddler or small child friendly due to the swimming pool and the high pool deck and terraced garden. The swimming pool. There is NO safety net and no safety fence.
- The property is equipped with an alarm system and is enclosed at the back pool and garden area. The external security beams can be turned on at night covering the perimeter. There is a slo a remote camera to the driveway with a screen in the kitchen.
- Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave, water filter, ice-machine and x2 coffee plungers. A coffee machine may be available. – For ground coffee.
- Cooking: 5 plate gas hob and x1 Electric oven.
- X1 Fridge/Freezer combo in kitchen.
- X1 Fridge/Freezer combo in garage (slim).
- Heating and Cooling: X1 Gas fireplace in the lounge. All rooms have portable fans.
- Laundry facility: The washing machine and tumble drier are in the garage.
- Braais/BBQ: There is an indoor gas braai and a weber braai for use on the lawn. Should you wish to make use of it on the wooden deck – a tray must be used to catch coals and fat spills.
- There are X2 sun-loungers and X3 sun chairs for use around the pool. There are an extra 2 sun-loungers outside bedroom 4 available for use.
- Beach Equipment: There are two sun beach umbrellas, 5 beach chairs, cooler bags and ice packs. There is a beach tent in the garage and beach bats and balls.
- Parking: Garage parking (electronic remote controlled) for 1 large SUV or 2 small vehicles. Driveway parking 2-3 vehicles off road behind the garage. This is uncovered, no fenced but off street. There is a security beam and camera.
- Swimming pool has no net and no fence. Strictly no babies, no toddlers and no small children who are unable to swim.
- Pet Policy: Strict. Pre-application, special terms and conditions and approval is required.
- Please note for those with pet allergies: The owners do bring their dogs to the house when on holiday. The property will be cleaned prior to any occupancies, however there may be trace elements.
- Strictly non-smoking home, please smoke outside
- This property has stairs.
- Please note that there are a few private cupboards which are excluded from the rental, however there is ample additional cupboards for use. One in the study, kitchen and upstairs bedroom – all with locks.
